What’s in a Share? Your share will change with the seasons. April showers bring June salads—crisp lettuce, radishes, carrots and scallions. Snack on sugar snap peas, steam some baby greens, stir fry spring broccoli.

In August, fire up the grill for summer squash, eggplant, onions and peppers. Make room on your kitchen counter for sweet juicy tomatoes of every shape, size and color. Tomato sandwiches, sauce and soup! Add cilantro and hot peppers for fresh salsa. For dessert? A thick slice of watermelon and a loaf of zucchini bread. Grace your dinner table with a vase of fresh flowers from our field.

Come autumn, roast your roots—beets, onions, fennel, potatoes, turnips, parsnips and carrots. Crush fresh garlic over sautéed kale. Drizzle olive oil over winter squash and bake. Throw it all together for a hearty stew. Carve a pumpkin while you savor the tastes and colors of season’s end. We love great food! Whatever we don’t grow ourselves, we bring in from the best of Berkshire Farms—mesclun greens, rhubarb, sweet corn, free-range eggs and more.

Share pick-up is at the farm, Tuesday afternoon or Saturday morning, mid-June through mid-November. Come by the farm and select your vegetables, and then join us in the field for pick-your-own cherry tomatoes, green beans, snap peas, cooking herbs, flowers and more.
